1. Used in the manufacture of coatings, adhesives, fiber and fabric modification, processing aids, and leather processing aids. It is used as a polymerization monomer in soft polymers and acts as an internal plasticizer in copolymers. It is also used as a solvent. 2. Primarily used as a soft monomer in the manufacture of acrylate solvent-based and emulsion-based pressure-sensitive adhesives. It is also used as the main monomer in the production of microsphere-type pressure-sensitive adhesives for notepads. It is also used in the manufacture of coatings, plastic modifiers, papermaking and leather processing aids, and fabric finishing agents. 3. Used in the processing of synthetic fiber fabrics and as an adhesive (anti-injury pressure-sensitive adhesive).
