Product Introduction
DOP is a general-purpose plasticizer primarily used in the processing of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It can also be used in the processing of polymers such as chemical resins, acetate resins, ABS resins, and rubber. It is also used in the manufacture of paints, dyes, and dispersants. PVC plasticized with DOP can be used in the manufacture of artificial leather, agricultural films, packaging materials, and cables.
Organic solvents, gas chromatography stationary phases
This is the most widely used plasticizer in industry. With the exception of cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate, it has excellent compatibility with most synthetic resins and rubbers used in industry. It offers excellent overall properties, including good mixing properties, high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, good low-temperature flexibility, resistance to water extraction, high electrical properties, and excellent heat and weather resistance.
In HVAC, it is used to test the filtration efficiency of HEPA filters. Because 0.3 μm (micrometer) is the particle size with the highest penetration rate for HEPA filters, DOP is used to test the filtration efficiency of HEPA filters.
