Product Introduction
It is primarily used as a comonomer in synthetic resins. The resulting copolymers are widely used in the coatings, textile, leather, adhesive, and other industries; it is also used in the synthesis of plastics and resins. Ethyl acrylate is an intermediate in the preparation of the carbamate insecticide benfuracarb. It is also used as a raw material for protective coatings, adhesives, and paper impregnation agents. Its polymer can be used as a leather anti-cracking agent. Its copolymer with ethylene is a hot-melt adhesive. Its copolymer with 5% chloroethyl vinyl ether is a synthetic rubber with excellent oil and heat resistance, and can replace nitrile rubber in some cases.
It is a food flavoring permitted by GB 2760-1996. It is primarily used in the formulation of flavorings such as rum, pineapple, and mixed fruit.
