It is used to synthesize local anesthetics (tetracaine hydrochloride), antihistamines, antispasmodics and antihypertensive drugs. It can also be used to prepare emulsifiers, textile auxiliaries, corrosion inhibitors, flocculants, antiscalants and raw materials such as ion exchange resins and dyes. It is used as a catalyst for the reaction of waterborne epoxy resin groups. It is also used as a curing catalyst for one-component moisture-curing polyurethane hot melt adhesives and a catalyst for the chelation reaction of 2402 resin and active magnesium oxide. It is also used as a low-temperature curing accelerator for epoxy resins and polyurethane foams. It is also used as a neutralizer for temperature-inversion waterborne epoxy resin emulsions and waterborne polyurethane adhesives [2]. It can be used as a raw material for cationic flocculants, used in sewage treatment, pulping agents, civil engineering and organic synthesis; to produce anion exchange resins; a solubilizer for water-soluble coating resins and an alkaline stabilizer for emulsion paints; an emulsifier for fatty acid soap making and paint making; boiler water and paper impregnated with this product can be used as a rust inhibitor; a raw material for antihistamines, etc.; a sludge inhibitor and dispersant for fuel oil; a slow-evaporating agent for azo dyes; and a paraffin emulsifier.
