It is widely used as a W/O or O/W emulsifier and dispersant and is a major raw material for synthetic detergents. It has extensive applications in industrial cleaning, textile printing and dyeing, papermaking, leather chemicals, chemical fiber oils, oilfield additives, pesticides, and emulsion polymerization. TX-4 can be used as a water-in-oil emulsifier, defoamer, and a spring acaricide for fruit trees. 20# petroleum emulsifier and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) granulation additive are also available. TX-7 can be used as a detergent component before and after acrylic fiber dyeing and leveling agent for cationic dyes. It can also be used as a wetting agent and emulsifier in general industry. TX-10 can be used as a compounding monomer for chemical fiber oils and as a dispersant and leveling agent in the bleaching, scouring, and dyeing processes in the textile printing and dyeing industry. It can also be used as a wetting agent, foaming agent, and mud activation agent in oilfields. It can also be used as an emulsifier and detergent in the metalworking, machinery, chemical, pesticide, and rubber industries. TX-15 is used as an oil-in-water emulsifier, a detergent in the metal, machinery, and textile industries, a flotation agent in the mining industry, a wetting agent and penetrant for investment casting, an emulsifier for oil fields, a wax inhibitor, and a demulsifier.
