1. Primarily used as a disinfectant and fabric bleach; 2. Used as an initiator for the emulsion polymerization of monomers such as vinyl acetate, acrylates, acrylonitrile, styrene, and vinyl chloride (operating temperature 60-85°C), and as a polymerization accelerator for synthetic resins; 3. Potassium persulfate is an intermediate in the electrolytic production of hydrogen peroxide, decomposing to generate hydrogen peroxide; 4. Potassium persulfate is used in oxidizing solutions for steel and alloys, and for etching and roughening copper. It can also be used to remove impurities from solutions; 5. Used as an analytical reagent and as an oxidant and initiator in chemical production. It is also used in film processing and as a sodium thiosulfate remover.
